The Wall Street Journal is looking for a markets reporter with advanced crypto skills able to explain, explore and investigate the world of digital assets.
You will write widely on crypto and will focus on institutions such as exchanges, stablecoin issuers and trading firms. You may write on other markets topics as the news demands.
You will:
- Build sourcing that enables you to break news on and deeply understand the major players in crypto.
- Write fast analytic and news items for our Live Markets platform.
- Write investigative and narrative longform stories.
You have:
- Experience covering crypto and breaking proprietary news on the beat.
- Expert-level understanding of crypto including the mechanics of coins, exchanges, blockchains, staking and DAOs.
- Coding skills that permit you to perform blockchain analytics and evaluate other relevant data.
