Joyce Karam, senior US correspondent at The National UAE is set to leave. Karam’s tweet reads:
“The last 5 yrs have been a fun & wild ride to be sure! I am not retiring (heck no:)). More news on next chapter in few days… thanks for following/helping along on that journey.”
Previously, Karam was a Washington correspondent.
She served as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University and was with London-based Al-Hayat Newspaper, where she worked for 14 years and served as Washington bureau chief.
Karam has a B.A. in journalism from Lebanese University and a master’s degree in international relations and affairs from Arcadia University in the Greater Philadelphia area.
