The Irish Times has appointed Denis Staunton a correspondent in China, where he will cover politics, the economy, business, society and culture. He will also cover China’s relationship with the rest of the world.
Previously, Staunton served as a London editor. Staunton has been with The Irish Times for more than 17 years and has held the posts of Washington correspondent, foreign editor and deputy editor.
