The Overseas Press Club hosted a book night Tuesday with veteran business journalist and professor Chris Roush to discuss his book, “The Future of Business Journalism.”
In the book, he writes about the role of business news and how it has shifted from a source of information about financial decisions for small business owners, consumers, and employees to expensive subscription services aimed at executives. He argues that relationships between businesses and media have dissolved and left local coverage atrophied.
OPC Past President Paula Dwyer served as moderator for the discussion.
