The Denver Business Journal has hired Nikki Wentling to cover technology.
A story on its website states, “Wentling comes to the DBJ from a position as national reporter with Stars and Stripes, a U.S. military news outlet. During her six years at Stars and Stripes, Wentling covered breaking news and the inner workings of the Department of Defense and the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
“Wentling also led several investigations at Stars and Stripes, including a deep dive into VA restrictions on benefits to Native American servicemembers and an ongoing supply shortage at the VA hospital in Washington, D.C.
“In her new role, Wentling will cover technology, innovation and biotechnology. These beats will feature established companies, startups, entrepreneurs, executives and more. She will also produce Colorado Inno’s newsletter The Beat.”
