“NIKKI, DON?T LOSE THAT NUMBER”
(with apologies to Steely Dan)

We hear you’re leaving, that’s OK
We had our wild time, like the Dow
You’re off to NBC’s cash cow
But if you have a change of heart

212 416 2000!!

Nikki, don’t lose that number
You don’t wanna call nobody else
Send it off in an email to yourself

Nikki, don’t lose that number
You don’t have to play for keeps
You’ll be sick of that Money Honey
By next fall’s sweeps

Gasparino’s having deja vu
He thought he’d left you years ago
He’ll want more Kudlow time and more dough
But you could have a change of heart

212 416 2000!!

Nikki, don’t lose that number
You don’t wanna call nobody else
Send it off in an iChat to yourself

Nikki, don’t lose that number
We’ll be waiting by the phone
You’ll be over that “friendly patter”
When you get home.

You tell yourself we’re not your kind
But you don’t even know your mind
And you could have a change of heart

212 416 2000!!

Nikki, don’t lose that number
You don’t wanna call nobody else
Send it off in a memo to yourself

Nikki, now, use that number
While we’ll still pick by the phone
You might notice you’ve got no ink stains
When you get home

Nikki don’t lose that number
Nikki don’t lose that number
Nikki don’t lose that number
