Active Interest Media has hired Dom Yanchunas as a staff editor for its B2B magazine Soundings Trade Only, daily e-newsletter Trade Only Today and news website tradeonlytoday.com.
Recently, he had been working with Fastmarkets AMM, where his areas of coverage included steel-consuming sectors such as construction, energy, automotive and other manufacturing.
He has also served on the Charity Committee at the New York branch of Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc, parent company of Fastmarkets.
He has also worked at the Associated Press and Bloomberg News, and has written or edited for daily newspapers including the Press & Sun-Bulletin in Binghamton, New York. He was also founding editor of the regional BusinessWeekly section at the Times-Tribune in Scranton, Pa.
Additionally, Yanchunas has won national journalism awards for enterprise reporting, news analysis/investigative, magazine writing and numismatic writing.
