Western Standard in Ottawa has hired Rachel Emmanuel as Alberta legislative reporter. She joins from iPolitics, where she was a reporter covering federal policy in Ottawa.
She has also previously written for iPolitics from October 2018 to May 2019. She has also worked as a journalist at The Globe and Mail. She was also a reporter and then news editor at The Charlatan, the student paper at Carleton University.
Emmanuel graduated from Carleton University.
