Laura Francis, the team leader for Bloomberg Law’s bankruptcy coverage, is joining its labor team as an editor.
She has been managing a team of reporters covering bankruptcy and corporate law developments for the past two years.
Francis previously was a senior legal editor. Prior to 2012, she was the legal reporter/editor for Bloomberg BNA’s Government Employee Relations Report. In that capacity she wrote about court opinions related to public employee issues, helped assemble the issue for publication, and worked with several attorneys and agency officials in producing videos for the website.
She previously worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Francis holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a law degree from George Washington University.
