Pierre Briançon has joined Reuters Breakingviews as a columnist covering European business and economics.
He was recently a senior writer and editor at Barron’s Group.
Before that, he worked as a senior correspondent and then as chief economics correspondent at Politico Europe. He has also served as European editor, Reuters Breakingviews, writing and editing stories on corporate, financial and macro-economic trends, from Madrid to Moscow.
He was also Paris bureau chief at Dow Jones Newswires.
