Healthline is  looking for a writer who has been living with eczema for a long time (15+ years) to write a personal essay about what they’ve learned managing the condition for so long.   Deadline: 2 March 2022. Due date is flexible (late March ideal).

Healthline is dedicated to making health and wellness information accessible, understandable, and actionable so that readers can make the best possible decisions about their health. It has a dedicated nutrition section that features daily articles that are based on scientific evidence.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

Please do not send unrelated pitches—this is the only topic and condition I’m commissioning a story on right now. Pitches due 3/2 and should include how long you’ve lived with eczema, and a brief overview of things you’ve learned.

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • 200-$300. Word count: 600-1,000.
