The Philadelphia Inquirer has hired Kate Dailey as deputy managing editor for features, working on digital journalism and telling stories about the city and region.
Dailey joins from the Philadelphia Magazine, where she was an editor. Before that, she was a managing editor at Vox.com. She has also worked at BBC News for 6 years, serving as a senior magazine writer and then as a planning editor.
Dailey has also held various editorial roles at Newsweek and has also worked freelance for The Wall Street Journal, NYMag.com, The Advocate and more.
Dailey has a B.A. from Penn State University and a M.A. from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
