Rachel Uranga, the managing editor of dotLA, announced Monday that she is leaving the tech news site for a new opportunity.
Before becoming managing editor, she covered the intersection of business, technology and culture. At the Los Angeles Business Journal, she was a beat reporter covering trade and Southern California retailers and manufacturers.
She is a former Mexico-based market correspondent at Reuters and has worked at the Los Angeles Daily News. She has covered everything from IPOs to immigration.
Uranga is a graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism and California State University Northridge.
