CNN has promoted Shawna Mizelle to the role of breaking news writer for CNN Politics. Previously, she worked as an associate producer and news associate at the network.
She was also a radio talk show host at WHBC 96.3HD3 and has interned at WHUR 96.3 FM HD 1 and Seacrest Studios.
Mizelle has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Howard University.
