James Fanelli will now be covering New York federal prosecutors for The Wall Street Journal.
Recently, he was bureau chief, overseeing the Journal’s metro section, which covered New York City and the tri-state area.
He is also an adjunct professor at City University of New York, co-teaching introductory reporting and writing class to first-year students enrolled in the master’s program. He also worked as an investigative reporter at New York Daily News and DNAinfo.
He has edited for New York Daily News, amNewYork and The Queens Courier and was a staff writer at New York Post.
Fanelli graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
