San Antonio Business Journal editor-in-chief Tony Quesada will be leaving the publication after eight years leading the newsroom, reports managing editor Ed Arnold.
Arnold reports, “In 2017, Quesada received the Community Voice Award from the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. And as the face of the newsroom, Quesada was fixture on KLRN’s Business Minute and helped establish the Business Journal’s media partnership with local ABC affiliate KSAT.
“He was a board member of the San Antonio Area Hispanic Journalist Association for six years and continues to serve as chairman of its scholarship committee.
“Before being named editor-in-chief in 2014, Quesada was managing editor of the Austin Business Journal for five years and senior reporter for the Jacksonville Business Journal, both sister publications, as well as managing editor of the San Diego Business Journal. Before his time in business journalism, he was executive editor of the News-Leader in Fernandina Beach, Florida, and assistant city editor at the El Paso Times.”
