Chicago Daily Law Bulletin digital editor Meyer departs

Tanya Meyer

Chicago Daily Law Bulletin newspaper and Chicago Lawyer magazine laid-off digital editor Tanya Meyer.

Meyer was with the publications for more than four years.

Previously, she was a copy editor at Prospect News where she rewrote press releases on U.S. and foreign bond issues, executive hires, index launches, municipal transactions for bank loan, Canadian bond market, convertibles, distressed debt, emerging markets, green finance, high-yield, investment grade, liability management and municipals daily e-newsletters.

She also copy-edited and rewrote headlines, financial tables and stories among other tasks.

Meyer has also served as a production associate at American Bar Association. During her more than 4-year career at Crain Communications, Meyer held various roles, including research assistant, editorial intern, editorial assistant, research associate and associate editor.

She was also an editorial intern at Concierge Preferred.

Meyer holds a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Lewis University.
