The Port Townsend-Jefferson County Leader has expanded its newsroom by hiring Nick Twietmeyer as a reporter.

“I’m very pleased to join the staff here at The Leader,” Twietmeyer said. “My family has history here in town, my grandfather was born here and my great-grandfather operated a business here in the early part of the 20th Century. I’m eager to have the opportunity to share the unique stories of the folks who call this special place home.”

Additionally, he has also held the post of assistant programs manager at Olympic Outdoor Center.
Twietmeyer holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication – journalism from the University of Washington.
