The Worcester Business Journal has hired Monica Busch to be its primary digital reporter.
A story on its website states, “Busch will be primarily responsible for the content appearing on WBJournal.com, in its noontime enews The Daily Report, and on social media. In addition, she will cover the manufacturing beat in Central Massachusetts and write longer enterprise pieces for the biweekly magazine.
“‘As our readers will soon discover, WBJ found a true gem in Monica Busch,’ WBJ Editor Brad Kane said. ‘Monica is the perfect combination of digital savvy, journalistic instincts, and superb writing skills. We are very fortunate to have her at WBJ, and the Central Mass. business community will be all the better for it.’
“Busch most recently worked for the Sentinel & Enterprise in North Central Massachusetts, covering Leominster and Lancaster. She previously worked for the national news organization Bustle, based in New York City, which is geared toward Millennial women. There, she covered national politics, with an emphasis on reproductive rights, gender inequities and domestic violence. Before that, she was a reporter for the Martha’s Vineyard Times.”
