Business of FootballYahoo Finance has started a new podcast called “Sportsbook: Business of Football” that is hosted by sports business reporter Daniel Roberts.

Each week, Roberts will dive into one part of the NFL’s $14 billion business operation. He’ll touch on how the stadium race is getting increasingly expensive and controversial, the way fantasy football has supercharged the sport’s popularity, the secret power of a handful of team owners, and more.

The first episode features an interview with Barstool Sports CEO Erika Nardini on the NFL’s consistent domination of the news cycle and how sports media is changing.

Future guests include Elizabeth Lindsey, managing partner at Wasserman, who runs NFL partnerships, talking about which big brands spend the most on football advertising; Brian Cristiano, CEO of Bold Worldwide ad agency, talking about player endorsement deals; DraftKings CEO Jason Robins on the explosion of fantasy football; economics professor Andrew Zimbalist on stadium financing; and more.

The new podcast will serve as an extension to Roberts’ existing Sportsbook video series, which features athlete and executive interviews weekly on Yahoo Finance.

Roberts covers the convergence of sports, tech, media and money for Yahoo Finance.
