Wall Street Journal editor Gerard Baker sent out the following announcement:
After six years at The Wall Street Journal, including more than two years leading our global technology coverage, Jonathan Krim will be leaving later this month to pursue new opportunities.
As technology editor and San Francisco bureau chief, Jonathan has overseen the expansion of our tech coverage around the world, helped assemble a first-rate team and developed a new digital home at WSJD.
Jonathan was a central figure in the launch of this bold new digital platform, and the rapid success of WSJD, including a series of highly-acclaimed conferences, has been in large part thanks to his tireless effort and creativity.
He previously led MarketWatch to a period of great expansion, and has held other senior roles in our online ranks. Before joining the Journal, Jonathan had already scaled great heights at other news organizations.
I am deeply grateful to Jonathan for his many contributions to The Journal. Please join me in wishing him all the best in his next chapter.
