Rob Copeland

Wall Street Journal global tech editor Jason Dean sent out the following announcement on Wednesday morning:

Colleagues,

I’m pleased to announce that Rob [Copeland] is stepping into a new role covering Google and its multifaceted parent company.

In the nine months since he arrived in San Francisco, Rob has written enlightening and exclusive stories on a range of subjects, from cryptocurrency to the cryptic ties between Elon Musk’s tunneling and rocket ventures. His eye for what matters and his skill in digging out the truth make him very well-suited to taking on one of the most prominent and important business-reporting roles at the Journal.

Please join me in wishing him success.

best,

Jason
