WSJ 2017Wall Street Journal business editor Jamie Heller sent out the following announcement on Monday:

Hello,

I’m thrilled to announce that George Stahl is joining the corporate team as deputy coverage chief. A 20-plus year veteran of business and markets coverage at Dow Jones and the WSJ, George brings an awesome command of corporate news across the full spectrum of sectors. He has excellent judgment and a well-earned reputation for solving problems with aplomb.

A graduate of Northwestern University’s journalism program, George lives in New Jersey with his wife and their two children.

He joins deputies Anupreeta Das in New York, Chip Cummins in London and Neil Western in Hong Kong in working with me and the entire corporate team globally to continue to deliver ever-better business coverage world-wide.

Please join me in welcoming and congratulating George.
