The Wall Street Journal has named Wade Lambert its senior news editor, making him responsible for all of the Journal’s operations in the evening.
Lambert has been night editor for the print edition. He will now also direct news gathering, publishing and platforms at night.
He joined The Journal’s copy desk in 1984 after graduating from the University of Missouri.
Lambert has held many reporting and editing roles at the paper, including deputy bureau chief in London from 2000 to 2002, Page One news editor from 2006 to 2010, and deputy editor of the Greater New York section from 2010 to 2013.
