Elisa Cho

Jim Oberman, news editor for research at The Wall Street Journal, sent out the following announcement on Tuesday:

I am very pleased to announce a new edition to our research team, Elisa Cho. I couldn’t be more excited that Elisa is joining us.

Elisa’s newsroom research experience is varied and vast. She has worked at The Daily News, Fox News, First Look Media / The Intercept, and The New York Times.

A little over 10 years ago Elisa and I job shared a news research position at the New York Times.  We worked on opposite days. We are finally getting to work side-by-side.

Elisa received her bachelor’s degree from Carlton, her masters in library science at Pratt, and an m.b.a. from Seattle University.

She is a certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor and says she “loves to teach Baptiste-inspired vinyasa classes”. She is a marathon runner, completing 14 full marathons and has finished 2 ultra marathons (50K).  In October she will be running the Marine Corps Marathon – http://www.marinemarathon.com/!

She lives in N.J. with her teenage son and daughter and their dog.

Please join me in welcoming Elisa to the Journal.
