WorkingNation, a nonprofit founded to explore unemployment and economic solutions, has received a $750,000 grant from Lumina Foundation to produce work-related journalism.
Diane Haithman of the Los Angeles Business Journal writes, “The grant from the Indianapolis-based foundation will support original video and digital journalism intended to increase awareness and understanding of the future of work. The foundation focuses on increasing the number of Americans with college degrees and other credentials beyond high school.

“The two-year grant represents Lumina Foundation’s first large-scale media commitment to highlighting the changing world of work in the United States.”
