Sid Verma, an associate editor at Euromoney Institutional Investor, has been hired by Bloomberg Markets to cover markets.
Verma has been with Euromoney since April 2012, writing news and features on emerging market finance and overseeing Euromoney.com.
Before that, he was a reporter for FT Tilt for nearly a year and a reporter and deputy editor for Euromoney for nearly four years. He was also a reporter for EuroWeek, covering emerging market sovereign and corporate bond issuance for the weekly capital markets newspaper.
He has a bachelor’s degree in politics and philosophy from the University of York and a master’s in African studies and international development from the University of Oxford.
