Twitter to live stream Bloomberg Television shows

Bloomberg TelevisionBloomberg Media and Twitter announced an agreement Tuesday where the social media service will live stream select Bloomberg Television shows.

Twitter will live stream “Bloomberg West,” “What’d You Miss?,” “With All Due Respect” and the network’s markets coverage.

“We continue to invest aggressively in innovative distribution models in order to deliver the most critical business and financial news and information to our audience of busy, on-the-go, global executives,” said Bloomberg Media CEO Justin B. Smith in a statement. “By partnering with Twitter, viewers from all over the world will now be able to leverage a powerful, real-time platform to consume and react to the news, accelerating our position as a leader in global business video.”

Bloomberg Television is available in more than 360 million households worldwide and across more than 70 countries, and is streamed live on the company’s digital and mobile properties, along with Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV.
