James Dean, a technology correspondent for the Times of London, is moving to New York to become the paper’s U.S. business editor.
Dean starts in his new role on Sept. 20.
Dean has been with the Times since May 2011, first as a digital development editor and then as a business reporter and a business correspondent. He has been a technology correspondent since July 2014.
He previously worked as a reporter for the Insurance Times and the Law Gazette in London.
Dean has an undergraduate degree from Durham University and a master’s degree in journalism from Brunel University.
