The Philadelphia Business Journal has struck a deal with the Philadelphia Real Estate Council to produce a quarterly Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Sentiment Index.
Del Poncet of the Business Journal reports, “Founded in 2010 by Llenrock Group founder and CEO Andrew Benioff, the Philadelphia Real Estate Council is a peer group for regional real estate leaders. The group has been producing an internal sentiment index for several years. Through the partnership with the Business Journal, the council’s goal is to extend the reach of the index and increase its impact, Benioff said.
“The Business Journal will publish the quarterly results and regular commentary about the index.
“‘The real estate, development and construction industries are hugely important — especially now — in Greater Philadelphia,’ said Craig Ey, editor-in-chief of the Philadelphia Business Journal. ‘The Sentiment Index will help our readers guage the health or our local economy going forward.'”
