Jason Notte, who has written for TheStreet.com since 2009, is leaving the online publication.
His last day is Thursday. He hopes to announce his new position soon.
Notte has been at various times a personal finance reporter, columnist, beer industry writer and sports industry writer for TheStreet. He started in its Boston bureau as a full-timer in June 2009 and has written for them under contract since 2012.
His work has appeared in several outlets including The Newark Star-Ledger, The New York Times, The Huffington Post and The Boston Globe.
He previously served as the political and global affairs editor for Metro U.S. and the layout editor for Boston Now, among other roles at various publications.
Notte earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 1998.
