NJBIZ has hired a new managing editor as the editor of the New Jersey business publication has resigned.
Linda Lindner is the new managing editor while Howard Burns, the editor for the past 13 months, is leaving.
Lindner was previously a staff writer at Urner Barry Publications for more than 12 years. She was also an editor at TFH Publications for five years. She is a Rutgers University graduate.
“We will be announcing a new editor to work with Linda in the coming weeks,” said publisher Ken Kiczales in a statement provided to Talking Biz News. “As we grow our team, expand our audience and launch new events, we’re excited to build on our No. 1 position serving the information needs of the New Jersey business community. We have several exciting initiatives planned for 2019.”
Burns, who had been the editor of the Pittsburgh Business Times, was hired as the editor of NJBIZ, a BridgeTower Media publication, and joined in November.
However, the paper has seen a larger-than-normal turnover in its editorial staff in the past year.
