Rhonda Pringle has been named market president and publisher of the Baltimore Business Journal.
Joanna Sullivan of the paper writes, “Pringle, a Florida native, joins the BBJ from its sister paper, the Phoenix Business Journal, where she has been advertising director since 2015. The Baltimore and Phoenix papers are part of the American City Business Journals’ chain of business newspapers.
“‘I’m excited about working with the great team at the Baltimore Business Journal, and continuing our mission of providing our readers and advertisers with excellent content and high-quality events that they find both useful and impactful to their own business and the communities we serve,’ Pringle said.
“Pringle replaces longtime Publisher John Dinkel, who left the paper June 1. Pringle will be both the paper’s first woman publisher and first African-American publisher.
