Mashable laid off two business and technology reporters on Tuesday as part of widespread cuts after the news company was acquired by Ziff Davis.
Patrick Kulp was a business reporter at Mashable until being laid off. He covered digital advertising, online retail and the future of work from its San Francisco office.
A graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a degree in political science and economics, he previously worked at the Pacific Coast Business Times.
In addition, Emma Hinchliffe was laid off. She covered business and women in technology for the past 18 months.
Before joining Mashable, she covered business and metro news at the Houston Chronicle.
Hinchcliffe is a Georgetown University graduate.
