Steve Goldstein, Washington bureau chief at MarketWatch, is moving to London to accept the role of European markets editor at the site.
Goldstein has been with MarketWatch for 17 years, first as staff writer, and then as London bureau chief from 2005 to 2010. He has been in his current role since 2010. Prior to joining MarketWatch, he was manager editor at Institutional Investor news. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Franklin & Marshall College.
At MarketWatch, audience expanded 13% in the first nine months of its earnings year to approximately 30 million average monthly unique users and revenue rose 13%, said Robert Thomson, CEO of parent company News Corp., during its quarterly earnings call in May.
