Miranda KleinMiranda Klein is the new business writer for the Alexandria Town Talk in Louisiana, replacing Jeff Matthews, who moves to a new beat.

A story on its website states, “As The Town Talk’s business reporter, Miranda’s focus will be on covering the comings and goings of local businesses big and small, as well as telling the stories of the people behind them.

“Miranda celebrated her one-year anniversary with The Town Talk this month, and will graduate this week from Louisiana College with a degree in Convergence Media.

“In her role as Community Connections reporter this past year, Miranda has covered a variety of local events, human interest and some business-related stories.

“Going forward, Miranda will continue to look for unique individuals and stories in the business community as she has done in the past. She also wants to make The Town Talk the community’s go-to for information about the newest stores, restaurants and other openings in Alexandria, and said she ‘looks forward to getting to know a different side of the Central Louisiana community in this new role.'”
