Two former high-level Fortune journalists have started their own content company.

High Water Press was started by long-time Fortune editors Brian Dumaine and Hank Gilman. It offers an array of services from op-ed writing and corporate profiles to blogs, white papers and book proposals.

Dumaine spent much of his career at Fortune, including a job as the magazine’s International editor. He has co-chaired Fortune’s successful Brainstorm E Conference and its highly-regarded  Global Forum.

He is also the author of “The Plot to Save The Planet: How Visionary Entrepreneurs and Corporate Titans are Creating Real Solutions to Global Warming.” He was also editor of the book “The Greatest Business Decisions of All Time” with a forward by Jim Collins.

Gilman has been a reporter and senior-level editor at publications like the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe and Newsweek. He was Fortune’s deputy editor for eight years. He is also author of the Portfolio/Penguin book: “You Can’t Fire Everyone,” a management memoir.

In 2011, Gilman was the recipient of the Minard Editor Award from the Gerald Loeb Foundation at UCLA.
