Forbes has published its first French edition, nearly one year after launching a website in the European country.
This first print issue is 184 pages and will have an initial run of 100,000 copies, the majority of which will be sold in shops and on newsstands with some copies going to business lounges, premium conferences and major public places.
In just under a year, the site has attracted an audience of over 1 million users and has 150 contributors publishing on its platform.
This first print issue is made up of almost entirely exclusive content, including rankings, in-depth articles, and interviews with high profile business leaders, including Bill Gates and Richard Branson. This edition also has a section entirely devoted to women of influence who invest, innovate, and lead.
“Who can bring together in its first magazine issue the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Bono, Anne-Sophie Pic, Meg Whitman and Antoine Frérot, as well as entrepreneurs who will shape tomorrow’s business? Forbes!,” said Jean Rognetta, managing editor of Forbes France, in a statement. “A prestigious editorial brand that will now service the French market.”
