Financial Week, a Crain’s publication started two years ago, is becoming an online-only publication, according to an announcement Wednesday.
The weekly print newspaper ceased production with its Dec. 7 issue.
“Year over year, our Internet traffic has grown dramatically,” said Nancy Adler, publisher of Financial Week, in a statemement.
“Increased focus on the Internet allows us to more efficiently deliver corporate finance news and analysis,” added Adler. “This means more breaking news, more interviews and more in-depth coverage of the capital and credit markets. Senior financial decision makers look to financialweek.com for the latest information on these topics and how they affect their jobs. By focusing on delivering the news on the Web rather than in print, we can keep our readers truly updated in today’s volatile marketplace.”
