Fast Company executive editor Noah Robischon has left the magazine.

His last day was Friday. He plans to announce a new project soon.

On Facebook, Robischon wrote, “It was a fantastic run, nearly a decade long — and I loved working there. When I arrived, in the depths of a global financial meltdown, I never imagined that the values and mission we put forward would resonate so clearly and become so widespread. It’s been a privilege to be a part of something so meaningful.”

Robischon’s departure comes after longtime magazine editor Bob Safian left at the end of 2017.

He joined the magazine in 2008 after being managing editor of Gawker Media. He was also the editor of gadget blog Gizmodo.

Robischon has written for print publications from the now-defunct Brill’s Content to Entertainment Weekly to The New York York Times, and worked as writer and story editor at TV outlets from VH-1 to New York 1.
