We are excited to announce the appointment of Chris Newlands as the new Editor of Financial News in London.
Chris is one of the UK’s leading journalists covering the financial services sector and his knowledge of the fund management industry in particular is second to none. He joins us from the Financial Times where he was asset management editor and the editor for the Financial Times’ fund management section FTfm.
He was also the launch editor for Ignites Europe, a fund management newswire. Prior to that, Chris wrote extensively on finance for publications including Euromoney, CNN and The Guardian. He is also the author of the Virgin Money Maker, a personal finance guide.
Chris joins Financial News at an exciting time in its history following the recent relaunch. He will build on our ambitious plans for the publication, online, in print and at live events. His commitment to great reporting and impactful storytelling will help us deliver more of the highest-quality journalism our subscribers demand.
