The Dayton Business Journal has hired Elizabeth Kyle as its first data reporter.
Editor Caleb Stephens writes, “A Chicago native, Kyle previously was an editorial intern at the DBJ.
“As data reporter, she will be responsible for producing the weekly Top 25 Lists and editorial content tied to them. She also will work on data-driven analytical stories, news profiles, arts coverage and the annual Book of Lists.
“Kyle — a 2018 graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in sociology — was the news editor of the Flyer News.
“‘I am excited to stay in Dayton, remain with the DBJ and see the great data projects we can produce,’ Kyle said. ‘The Dayton region is filled with stories and I look forward to diving in.'”
