Dallas Morning News business editor Dennis Fulton sent out the following announcement to the staff:
I’m very sad to report that Hanah Cho is leaving us.
She has accepted a job with nerdwallet.com, a San Francisco-based startup that specializes in personal finance.
Specifically, she will be helping to build a new small business vertical. She’ll be overseeing the coverage as well as writing about small business financing from her home in Allen.
Hanah joined us in July, 2012, from the Baltimore Sun, where she had covered financial services, energy services and about four other beats. She rapidly developed a strong following in the fast-growing North Texas start-up community. She played a huge role in launching the Entrepreneurs page which debuted with the Business redesign a year ago. Her energy, reporting sophistication, professionalism and productivity will be severely missed.
Her last day is April 8. Please join me in wishing her well.
