Covestor seeking financial web editor

Covestor.com, an investment management site that includes editorial content, is seeking to hire a part- or full-time financial web editor, according to Mick Weinstein, head of editorial.

The position would be based in its New York office or remotely, and the person would report to Weinstein, former editor in chief of SeekingAlpha.com.

Weinstein is looking for someone who can edit a constant flow of portfolio manager market commentary with attention to detail and at a fast pace, produce compelling short-form content for its blog, solicit content and conduct engaging interviews with portfolio managers; assist with production of evergreen content on investing topics; andwork with a compliance officer on all content in an efficient manner

The job requires significant personal experience with web publishing, CMS and blogging, someone who is an active consumer of online financial/market news and views; active investing experience a plus’ and a professional and academic record reflecting a love of language and editorial achievement.
