Consumer Reports has hired Althea Chang as an associate director of content development.
Chang most recently was at Time Inc., where she was senior news editor at The Drive. She managed and coached a roster of more than two dozen writers and two editors to guide reporting and writing and employ AP Style while expanding The Drive’s news coverage.
She has also been a senior writer for mobile technology, writing stories and reviews on technology for Tome’s Guide and LaptopMag.com.
From March 2013 to May 2016, she was a digital video producer and writer at CNBC, covering science, technology, personal finance, food and other business news topics.
Chang has also worked at Forbes and TheStreet.com.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from New York University and a master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
