Eli Blumenthal has been hired by tech news site CNET to cover software, apps and services in its New York office.
He started Monday.
Blumenthal has been at USA Today since December 2016 as a digital editor. He has had a primary focus on covering breaking news and reviewing consumer technology for the Money and Tech sections. As a digital editor, he also led USA Today Money and Tech’s social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and USA Today’s presence on LinkedIn.
He was the founder and writer of the TeensTalkTech website until 2014.
Blumenthal is a graduate of Baruch College.
