CNBC ProCNBC president Mark Hoffman and CNBC Digital senior vice president Kevin Krim sent the following to staff on Monday afternoon:

Last week, we began the first phase of CNBC PRO’s relaunch. This is our first major expansion and transformation of this premium, desktop/mobile service since it was introduced in 2010.  During these initial days of our free preview, we have had lots of people signing up to gain access to PRO and these participants have exhibited high return rates to the content. It is early days and we still need to convert these users into paying customers, but we are off to a great start.

The new CNBC PRO offers subscribers an all-access pass to some of the smartest investors in the market through two model portfolios – Squawk Box Platinum Portfolio, which launched today, and the Halftime Portfolio, which started last Monday. In addition, PRO users also benefit from exclusive investing ideas and analysis related to the model portfolios and other key investing styles and asset classes. Watch a complete overview of the new CNBC PRO here.

CNBC PRO content is available at cnbc.com/PRO and, as you may have noticed and will see in the following image, it is also now integrated into the CNBC.com experience so all site visitors can see PRO headlines and teasers of content that will reside behind the paywall:

The free CNBC PRO preview period lasts for several more weeks. All it takes is an email address to get started, so we hope all of you give it a try and let us know what you think.

Growing our digital subscription business is a key priority for CNBC and the relaunch of PRO is an important first step in achieving this goal.
