Business news service Cheddar has opened a studio in Los Angeles.
The studio is at the Bungalow Santa Monica at The Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows, across the street from the ocean-side cliffs of sunny Santa Monica.
The video service already operates from the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange, Flatiron Building, White House lawn, and new in-office facility.
“The Bungalow is amazing. It’s so picturesque, I could not think of a better visual representation of Los Angeles and Southern California. We’re going to bring in studio executives, startups in Silicon Beach, and entertainment companies,” said Jon Steinberg, CEO of Cheddar, in a statement. “Cheddar now has three of the most significant news markets covered in New York, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles and two live switched controls rooms we built and designed ourselves at a fraction of traditional cost for the modern era.”
Cheddar aims to focus on the Los Angeles tech scene and entertainment business news.
