Business news video channel Cheddar announced Friday that it is now available on Comcast Xfinity X1.
Its content is available simply by saying, “Cheddar” into the X1 voice remote. Consumers also have access to Cheddar’s library of top interviews categorized by verticals such as tech, business, culture, and politics.
“It’s amazing and validating to turn on the TV and see Cheddar alongside Fox Business and CNBC on X1. Even better, you can just say ‘Cheddar’ into the remote to be taken right to our network!” said Jon Steinberg, CEO and anchor of Cheddar, in a statement.
Last month, Cheddar content was viewed more than 250 million times.
Comcast Ventures is an investor in Cheddar, which broadcasts the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange and the glass corner of the Flatiron Building inside the Sprint store. Comcast is also the parent company of business news channel CNBC.
It is also available on Sling TV, Amazon, Philo, Twitter, Pluto TV, 60 percent of smart TVs in the U.S., Vimeo and Facebook.
