Central Penn Business Journal announced Tuesday that Kathryn Ross has been hired as its new publisher.
Ross is responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the Business Journal and Central Penn Parent. She will report to Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, group publisher at BridgeTower Media, the parent company of both properties.
Ross most recently served as chief revenue and marketing officer at Kross Strategies in Lancaster, advising companies on how to successfully meet their business objectives and revenue goals. Prior to that, Ross held senior sales and marketing roles at Penn Waste and Ecore International, two leading Central Pennsylvania businesses.
Ross began her career in publishing at The Meredith Corp., Reader’s Digest and Gannett’s USA Weekend, working with well-known brands John Deere, Hunter Douglas, SubZero and MetLife Auto & Home.

Central Penn Business Journal will look to expand its existing programs with fresh content and new events.
